Input

Newspapers have been declining at a steady rate for over 20 years. The industry finds itself in the uncomfortable position of being forced to think of new ways to satisfy changing market needs. Many are moving away from daily editions, while some are closing the doors altogether.

Assignment

Create as many ideas for new uses of the newspaper or any of its components as you can. You may use all of it, part of it, reconfigure it, put it with something else, sit on it, blow it up, whatever it. The goal is to create as many ideas as possible for the current version of newspaper. Allow yourself to enter anything that comes to mind. There is no such thing as a bad idea. You can be smart, ludicrous, irreverent, etc. The goal of this exercise is volume of ideas. Please do not filter your ideas.

For this exercise, enter as many unique and creative ideas as possible for new uses of the newspaper or any of its components. While in this example only a few ideas are given, you will list as many as you can in completing the exercise.
